It also helps detoxify your body from toxins. How to consume it: Add it to your bowl of rice, bento, soups or vegetables.

Apple cider vinegar: I have recently discover the benefits of the apple cider vinegar (added to many cooking and baking recipes) and I have to say that it is quite impressive. First, it contains pectins and antibiotics properties which help fighting intestinal issues, then the acetic acid in the vinegar can lower bad cholesterol present in blood, it also can prevent indigestion before big meals and fight flu during winter by healing throat and clearing stuffy nose. How to consume it: add two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water, add two teaspoons of maple syrup (agave or honey) and drink it. You can also add a dash of cinnamon or a bit of freshly squeezed lemon juice for a detox drink.

Yerba maté tea: One of the reason I want to go to Argentina is to discover the real yerba maté tea. It is a south american tea issued from the yerba maté plant and uses as a beverage. Because of its high level of minerals, antioxidants, vitamins, amino acids and caffeine, it help to stay focus by increasing mental ability. It is also a great source of antioxidants which helps to prevent cancer and detoxify your body. It keeps your colon clean by stimulating your stomach and digestive system and boost your metabolism which can help your burn more calories.
